Black Restaurant Week starts today and there has never been a better time to support your favorite St. Louis restaurant.

Restaurants are struggling during the pandemic and many are doing everything possible to stay alive. It is so important that we support the restaurants that we want to stay open. An easy way to endorse your favorites (or try new flavors) is to order take-out at one of the many black-owned St. Louis restaurants.

Black Restaurant Week started in Houston five years ago and has expanded to the Midwest this year. The event is designed to support the community by raising awareness of black-owned restaurants. It is especially useful for restaurants that may not have large advertising budgets.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the event also hopes to raise money for the Black Farmer Emergency Fund and Black Restaurant Emergency Fund.

Visit BlackRestaurantWeeks.com to donate to these organizations or to learn more about participating St. Louis restaurants.

We have rated many of the participating restaurants. So, if you want a glimpse into the best foods to order, check out our reviews of Prime 55, TKO Grill, Kitchen 4am, Steve’s Hot Dogs, and more.
