Celebrate 314 Day in St. Louis in 2021

ST. LOUIS – March 14th is known across the country as Pi Day, but in St. Louis it’s also known as 314 Day, when St. Louisans celebrate Lou and its local business.

This year, STLMade, a Greater St. Louis Initiative, is dedicating an entire week to celebrating the city. March 8-14 was named #LoveLocalSTL – More for 3.14. The weeklong celebration supports local businesses in the area from O’Fallon, Missouri to O’Fallon, Illinois.

The theme days include: Caffeine Kick Monday; Sweet Tooth Tuesday; Burger Bash Wednesday; Global Goodness Thursday; Cheers, it’s Friday !; Saturday BBQ Shindig; and Sunday Pie Day for March 14th. The #LoveLocalSTL page also provides a list of the local shops and service providers that will be attending the celebration.

Lion’s Choice is celebrating its 314th day by offering all types of large concrete on March 14th for $ 3.14. Guests must present the online voucher posted on Instagram and Facebook by Lion’s Choice.

Mission Taco Joint is offering a one-day T-Rav Taco at all St. Louis locations on March 14th. The taco includes a crispy corn tortilla with a parmesan crust, a meat filling filled with Italian spices, marinara sauce, grated Provel cheese and a topping with parsley and parmesan. The taco costs $ 3.14 each.

Customers who order Russell’s sticky butter cake for national delivery will receive a 25% discount on March 14th. Russell’s offers sticky butter cakes in original, chocolate chips, triple berry, and lemon curd.

Carla’s Caring Hearts celebrates Day 314 by giving back to the community. On March 14th there will be free food for 100 people at two locations while supplies last. The first event takes place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at 4979 Natural Bridge and the second from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5124 Natural Bridge

The Bakers 4 Black Lives initiative is hosting a social justice event where donations go directly to local social justice organizations. More than 1,000 items of ad libitum will be available at dozens of local restaurants and bakers around the city. The event will take place on the 314th day from 10 am to 2 pm at Northwest Coffee at 4251 Laclede Ave. instead of.

Old Vienna, also known as the brand behind Red Hot Riplets, is hosting a fundraiser by selling limited-edition shirts. The proceeds from the special 314-day jerseys from Red Hot Riplets will benefit the Head Start program of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis.

Of course, there has to be a 314 day celebration at the Pi Pizzeria. All locations are planning special celebrations, including an offer where you can buy one pizza and get a second for $ 3.14.

Through March 14th, City Foundry STL will host an indoor concert series featuring local artists, food from the Niche Food Group and drinks from STL Barkeep and Schlafly Beer. Limited tickets are available and full COVID-19 logs will be in place, including masks and social distancing.

The market features live music, food trucks, beer from 4 Hands Brewing Co., and STLMade loot and freebies.
