Flying Colours Flying High | Business Aviation News: Aviation International News

SEQ CHAPTER 1Flying Colors has two reasons to celebrate during the 2015 NBAA. First, the company’s St. Louis, MO, MRO and completion facility received Bombardier’s “Authorized Service Facility (ASF) of the Year” award in the “North America” category. Second, Inairvation selected Flying Colors as the only preferred completion center in North America.

Bombardier selected the Flying Colors St. Louis facility as Service Facility of the Year to recognize its quality, performance and commitment to customers. The award also recognizes Flying Colors’ support for Bombardier’s “strategy of delivering amazing customer experiences through superior performance”. Flying Colors (Booth C9340) purchased the St. Louis facility from JetCorp Technical Services in 2009.

“It is the first time that we have qualified for the Bombardier ASF Award. We are very honored to win this award. especially given the intense competition in the North American market, ”said Troy Funk, Vice President Technical Services at Flying Colors. “We recognize the dedication, dedication and hard work of our strong team in St. Louis for the customer experience. Bombardier Aerospace’s award shows what a great job they do.” The award will be presented at the 5th Annual Bombardier ASF Excellence Awards ceremony here at NBAA 2015.

As a partner of Inairvation’s North American completion center, Flying Colors will be responsible for implementing Inairvation’s vision of a “one-stop shop” for integrated management of the interior of aircraft cabins. By providing a single point of contact for your aircraft interior projects, the aim is to reduce costs, weight, time and the long delays caused by changes after the design is frozen. The inairvation team consists of designers from Lufthansa Technik, F. LIST, DesignQ and Schott Aviation. Inairvation is a 50:50 joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG and F. LIST.

“We know that delaying a supplier can make projects very expensive to complete. Therefore, the concept of integrating all suppliers under one roof makes sense for customers and project managers alike, ”said Sean Gillespie, Vice President of Flying Colors. “Working together as an integrated team from the start of a cabin specification project ultimately leads to a seamless completion of the installation. We are very happy about this concept. “
