However, a large piece of her heart remains in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, which she calls a city “full of life, Midwestern values and ever-inspiring friendly faces.” Rather love the St. Louis lifestyle and cite the Cardinals’ baseball games, Forest Park, St. Louis Zoo, the outdoor music venue in Muny, the Missouri Botanical Garden, Gateway Arch and the Cathedral Basilica with its world famous mosaic collection of Wealth the city. The retired marketing and insurance brokerage firm owner travels to River City at least eight times a year to enjoy the colors of spring and fall and attend community events.

HOW TO SPEND A FREE DAY Catch a Cardinals baseball game or visit Forest Park.
DOES NOT NEED EXPERIENCE IN THE GUIDEBOOKS Visit the Venice Café in Benton Park. It is a three story brick building with a coffee house, restaurant and night club. Local artists and sculptors exhibit there.
SOLO ADVENTURE Ride the trolley to Blueberry Hill on the Loop for one of the famous hamburgers. Chuck Berry himself performed there monthly in the Duck Room.
FUN CULTURAL EXCURSION Head up the Gateway Arch to see for miles. Visit the on-site museum for information on its construction, the history of the Mississippi, and the Lewis and Clark expedition to the Midwest.
