  • Confirmed: still wild.

Though the general level of savagery in St. Louis has been subdued lately, real champions have never turned their backs on the sport as the pandemic pushes more of us inside and the recent bitter cold ensures we stay there.

And so it is with great pleasure that we bring you the good news that the city you were women in was tinkering on the roof of an SUV as it rolled down the highway, a policeman who struck a motorcyclist in the foot with his fist when he did a wheelie, and the guy who fell straight out the window of a car on the freeway when his T-top came off has a new trick up his sleeve: climbing stairs on the arched area.

In a video that a local resident shared with RFT who asked to remain anonymous, a man in full cold-weather gear holds his poles as he descends the steps outside the arch, almost losing them at one point before turning himself off and pull off a photo finish.

This amazing performance of athleticism came to an end on Monday around 9:30 p.m. Our anonymous tipster was on the riverside when a vehicle pulled onto the cobblestone street near the Arch site.

“I stopped and asked him if he had just come down to have a little fun with the four-wheel drive,” the man with the camera tells us. “He said, ‘No, I’m going up the stairs of the arch.'”

Of course, our tipster and his companions had to see this, so they followed the man who only identified himself as Dave and recorded the footage below. The cameraman calls the stuntman “Super Dave”, a reference to the legendary Bob Einstein character, says what we all think and calls the man “pretty cool”.

Check out the video below and prepare for warm weather and vaccinated citizens – this city only gets wilder from here.
