Multiple School Districts In Northern North Texas Counties Delayed Or Closed Wednesday Due To Weather – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Several school districts in northern North Texas have postponed school on Wednesday, February 10th to 10am to 10am due to the weather. At least one is closed for the day.

On Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service in Fort Worth added Dallas County to its winter weather report.
The previous Tuesday, the NWS in Fort Worth issued a winter weather report for parts of northern Texas for the northern counties of Metroplex and Red River from Tuesday, 10:00 p.m.
The drizzle will continue to develop until Wednesday morning.

“We will see a good chance that drizzle and light freezing rain will freeze in the advisory area and that there may be icing on raised surfaces / bridges / overpasses,” said Scott Padgett, chief meteorologist at CBS 11. “From then on, we have a better chance of rain / mixed with sleet and freezing rain, which covers the majority of the Metroplex and Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. We could again see an accumulation on bridges and overpasses as well as on raised surfaces. “
