Troy, Illinois (KMOV.com) – Oklahoma was killed in a police shot at a gas station in Troy, Illinois on Saturday night.

Officials said they received a call around 7 p.m. about an active shooter in the parking lot of the TA gas station 800 blocks on Edwardsville Road. Cody Waters, 31, a gas station in Dewey, Oklahoma, reportedly had suicidal thoughts and shot a gun in the air.

According to police, officers in Troy fired seven bullets in the direction of Waters because they feared his life and the lives of others at the gas station. Police say Waters was attacked but it is unclear whether police shot him or themselves. Around 9:10 p.m. Waters died at a gas station. Nobody was injured.
