Schnucks in Kirkwood will be opening a dining room with 3 restaurants in St. Louis this summer

Schnuck’s Kirkwood location at 10233 Manchester Road needed an update, and with it comes exciting new features. The renovation will include a new grocery hall with local restaurant vendors The Shaved Duck, Seoul Taco and The Greek Kitchen, as reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. They will each run their own kiosk with a shared seating area.

The remodel is taking place in the second store in the Kirkwood area, which has been in operation since 1987. Schnucks spokesman Paul Simon explains that this was one of their permanent locations as “the community for Schnucks was great”.

The store will remain open during construction, and Schnuck’s Kirkwood manager Heidi Johnson apologizes to customers [their] Dust ”as they build that“ exciting shopping experience ”.

Other additions include a nut butter self-serve machine, kombucha on tap, a new natural living section, and expanded take-away options. Arch Apparel will also sell its St. Louis-inspired streetwear.

The renovation began in March and the plan is to make these upgrades by mid-summer. Simon believes that if the Food Hall and other supplements in Kirkwood are successful, it “surely is something [he] could see an expansion to other locations. “
