St. Louis is the seventh new city to join Spirit’s network last year. The airline continues to seize growth opportunities as demand for air travel rises after announcing a new service to Louisville. Milwaukee and Pensacola in the past two weeks. The airline continues to take advantage of this type of growth opportunity as the demand for air travel increases. Last month the airline announced an accelerated delivery schedule for new Airbus aircraft belonging to Spirit’s Fit Fleet ™, one of the youngest in the industry.

“Expanding our airline partnerships and offering additional destinations is an integral part of STL’s strategic plan. We couldn’t be more proud to bring Spirit Airlines to our city,” he said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, STL director. “We look forward to these additional flights and the opportunity they bring to our region.”

Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas and Orlando are three of Spirit’s largest cities, meaning that STL non-stop flights have easy connections to a variety of destinations. Fort Lauderdale is also Spirit’s greatest gateway to the Caribbean and Latin America.

Spirit Airlines got off to a good start this year. In January, the airline launched its new Free Spirit® loyalty program, which is the fastest way to earn rewards and status. * Spirit is also one of only three US airlines featured on FORTUNE’s 2021 World’s Most Admired Companies List, which measures companies with the strongest reputations in their industries. Spirit has also been awarded “Platinum” status by the SimpliFlying-operated health security initiative of the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX).

Guest security
Spirit’s commitment to safe travel encompasses a multi-faceted approach to safety that requires all guests and team members to wear face covers. Every passenger agrees to this policy as part of a health and safety certification prior to boarding the aircraft. Every aircraft in our Fit Fleet® uses state-of-the-art HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Air) filters that capture 99.97% of particles and filter the air for contaminants every 3 minutes.

Between each flight, improved cleaning practices focus on touch-sensitive areas such as tray tables and armrests. Spirit also uses two EPA registered mist treatments. The first uses a safe, high quality disinfectant that is effective against coronaviruses. The second uses an antimicrobial product that creates an invisible barrier on all surfaces that kills bacteria and viruses for 30 days on contact.
