Florissant Valley Community College (3400 Pershall Road) will soon be St. Louis’ first attempt at mass vaccination against COVID-19.

County Executive Sam Page says the campus won’t become a walk-through or drive-through place like we’ve seen some other states (at least not yet), but they hope to be able to administer thousands of vaccines there by next week.

Located just off I-270 off West Florissant Avenue, the Flo Valley provides access to the Flo Valley for many residents in the heart of northern St. Louis County.

And this vaccination center could also provide valuable real-world experiences for students attending classes at Community College: The school is working with the health department so their nursing students can help with the vaccination effort.

The state of Missouri as a whole might fail to get people vaccinated (we are currently ranked last nationwide in vaccine adoption), but the St. Louis County Health Department is doing everything possible to get gunshots in the arms, including that Carrying out a vaccine. Awareness program that enables transportation to the facility for those unable to get to a bus stop and putting together of teams to deliver vaccines to the home.

Vaccinations are free in Flo Valley, but an appointment is required. To pre-register for your vaccine, visit STLCorona.com or call 314-615-2660.
