St. Louis food: Frozen potstickers

The Dogtown will be available in multiple stores in St. Louis on July 7th

ST. LOUIS – Two spots in St. Louis merge to create a new frozen product.

Tower Grove South’s Dogtown Pizza and Crispy Edge are teaming up on a frozen pizza potsticker.

‘The Dogtown’ will be available on July 7th while supplies last. It’s available at multiple locations in St. Louis Schnucks, Randall’s Wine & Spirits near McKinley Heights, the local Harvest and Gustine Market in Tower Grove, and the Craft Beer Cellar in South City.

“Our latest collaboration will be an epic combo worthy of local history books, combining our delicious St. Louis style pizza with Crispy Edge’s unique potstickers,” said Rick Schaper, co-owner of Dogtown Pizza.

It’s a potsticker dumpling made with Italian sausage from Dogtown Pizza, pizza sauce, and a cheese mix with parmesan and oregano batter.

“One of my favorite endeavors is working with companies in St. Louis,” said Jesse Stuart, director of operations at Crispy Edge. “Working together has made us stronger as a company and made us stronger as a city. Given the opportunity, it was an absolute honor to work with a St. Louis staple like Dogtown Pizza, and I look forward to seeing what St . Louis thinks of what we’ve put together. “

Crispy Edge started in founder David Dresner’s kitchen in 2013 and has grown into a USDA retail and wholesale manufacturing facility. The curated Potsticker menu offers familiar favorites as well as exciting new flavors from all over the world.
