St. Louis food | Try these 7 spots in the Lou

A nearly 8-minute video has been posted on BuzzFeed’s Bring Me page of foods to try in St. Louis.

ST. LOUIS – Several St. Louis spots were featured in a BuzzFeed video this week.

A nearly 8-minute video has been posted on BuzzFeed’s Bring Me page of foods to try in St. Louis.

The first item they tried on the list was, of course, Pappy’s Smokehouse. “Pappy’s is busy all the time, but it’s worth the wait.” You can find Pappy’s at 3106 Olive Street. Thrillist recently named the place one of the best BBQ spots in the country.

Second place was sticky butter cake at Park Avenue Coffee. They have over 70 rotating flavors!

The third was St. Louis-style pizza at Imo’s Pizza. “Provel is a mix of Cheddar, Swiss and Provolone. The pizza consists of a thin crust and they don’t skimp on the toppings. “

Next up is the frozen pudding at Ted Drewes’. The St. Louis staple has been around for 90 years. “Go wild with the toppings or just keep it simple.”

Toasted raviolis at Imo’s Pizza is the sixth thing they recommend in St. Louis. “The locals call them T-Ravs,” the video reads. And the hell yeah!

And I can’t forget Gus’ pretzels! The family-run spot has existed for 99 years. “You can watch the pretzel making process.”

No. 7 is the ‘Gerber Special’ at Ruma’s Deli. It’s an open sandwich with homemade garlic butter, topped with ham and St. Louis cheese, and sprinkled with peppers. It was named after a customer.
