St. Louis restaurant openings, closings, and coming soons: February 2021

The following list is correct as of going to press in late February.

The most unusual statistic this month is the relatively low number of closings (two versus seven in February 2020). Ghost kitchens – Mariah’s Biscuits, Wing Squad, MrBeast Burger, and Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen (all under the Virtual Dining Concepts umbrella) – that recently opened in existing restaurants continue to proliferate among openings.

The owners of Narwhal’s Crafted applied the same high-end treatment to nachos at sister restaurant Loaded: Elevated Nachos, the 15th restaurant to open on the streets of St. Charles. A month after hitting their Holly Hills location, Alan and Alex Cupp released a sandwich-focused version of The Stellar Hog in Chesterfield. And the New Orleans bar Boo Coo, which is having good times, came to Soulard in time for Mardi Gras.

Changes and additions are in in full bold.
