‘St. Louis Talks’ replacing Rush Limbaugh on KMOX
ST. LOUIS, MO – KMOX will be on hand to replace Rush Limbaugh’s earlier 11:00 am to 2:00 pm lunch show. The station died in February.
The radio station has announced that the new lunchtime program “St. Louis speaks. “It will feature KMOX personalities such as Carol Daniel, Ryan Wrecker and Bo Matthews. You can hear it from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on weekdays from May 3, 2021.
Daniel is an award-winning anchor and reporter. Most recently, she celebrated her 26th anniversary with the station. Now she is called the talk show host.
“I actually met with my program director and said if you had me I would love to do the show,” Daniel said.
The program director said yes.

“This is a dream come true for me to host a show on a historic radio station with talented, fun, and curious people like Bo and Ryan,” wrote Daniel. “My goal is to bring the audience stories about the people, places and things in the region that we all love, but of which we want so much more.”
The Rush Limbaugh Show was one of the few non-local shows on KMOX. It was 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for nearly three decades. Conservative commentator Dan Bongino replaces Rush on other channels that don’t produce local content.
“We look forward to Carol, Ryan and Bo working with the KMOX newsroom to report and respond to local, regional and national issues that affect our community as we build our position as the voice of St. Louis,” writes he Becky Domyan, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy St. Louis.
“We want to explore this region in a way that KMOX was used to many, many decades ago. That’s how we are, that’s how we were, the voice of St. Louis, ”Daniel said.

2:00 am – 4:00 am: Our American stories
4:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m .: America in the morning
5:00 am – 8:30 am: General information AM
8:30 am – 11:00 am: The Charlie Brennan Show with Amy Marxkors
11:00 am – 2:00 pm: St. Louis Talks
2pm – 6pm: The Dave Glover Show
