Tower Grove Pride Festival has always been one of the best local celebrations for the LGBTQ community in St. Louis.

Once a year, Tower Grove Park (4257 Northeast Drive) transforms into a big party for Tower Grove Pride, offering a mix of food, games, activities, activism, and entertainment.

The event usually took place during the Pride Month in June and was postponed to August last year and then completely canceled due to COVID-19. This year, organizers are skipping June altogether and plan to hold the event in the fall, hoping the pandemic will be under control by then.

Tower Grove Pride 2021, now slated for September 25th, will have all of the same things that the festival attendees loved, but with a little less heat and sweating. (Take a break for an “amen” for the cast and drag queens who endured the makeup-melting heat of previous pride festivals.)
